I am delighted to be invited to teach at a new festival called “Trådfestivalen”/Thread Festival at Oslo Metropolitan University, organised by “Estetiske fag“! The festival starts on Tuesday 8th of July and lasts until Saturday 19th of July, with a full programme from Tuesday to Saturday both weeks.

There will be courses – mainly held by staff and students at OsloMet – to sign on to such as: Learn how to sew, different kinds of weaving, carve your own crochet hooks & knitting needles and knitting help.

In addition there are activities to join, such as an embroidery 150-year celebration contributions and some specifically for children & teenagers too; like textile printing with yarn.
