Strikkefestivalen/The Knitting Festival in Fredrikstad is celebrating 10 years in September and I will be teaching 3 new workshops in Norwegian; 2 on Friday 11th and 1 on Saturday 12th. I have not taught at all of the previous festivals, but have visited most of the other ones, as it is located in Fredrikstad the oldest fortified town in Norway (founded in 1567) and always offers a very tempting market hall as well as fabulous workshops.
American test knitter Beth Robinson, aka yarnbeth, made her first Aibell back in 2019, but has since made three sleeveless summer versions with less skirt width and then re-knitted two of these this summer after she had lost a weight. Continue reading
