Della Vigna Modelled by Rebekah Audic

I have been looking forward to showing you these stunning photos that Gael Audic took of his wife Rebekah Audic wearing my Della Vigna Pullover and Della Vigna Cowl in the old city of Fredrikstad, last September when they came to visit us.

Both designs are knitted in the lovely Noro Yarns Silk Garden Sock Solo using a 3.5 mm/US 4 needle with a 20 stitches and 30 rows in Stockinette stitch measuring 10 cm/4” square after blocking. The Aqua Green colour has been discontinued but it does come in some beautiful colours.

Rebekah is wearing the pullover in size 2, but I have graded it in sizes 1 to 9, with a bust circumference of 90 to 170 cm/35.5 to 67”, while the cowl is in size 1 – available in sizes 1 to 4.

Inspired by the façade of the Venetian Church San Francesco Della Vigna is this seamed pullover with waist shaping and bell sleeves. The rows of eyelets add a sculptural effect to the pullover, while its opulence is found in the wide bell sleeves, ending at the elbow. Della Vigna Pullover ends like it began in a garter stitch band crowned by an I-cord. For a large collar, wear it together with the Della Vigna Cowl.

The patterns have recently been released in English in my Ravelry Store. The Norwegian patterns will be added shortly. I want to thank Rebekah for being my gorgeous model while she was visiting and Gael for taking these brilliant photos!
