I am so thrilled to have been asked by Temareiser Fredrikstad to teach at a Knitting Weekend at Røros in Norwegian for the second time around in October (15-17th) next year. The first time was back in 2018 organised by Explore Travel for the magazine “Hjemmet”, where I held 3 talks for all 110 attendees and 3 workshops for a smaller group. You can read more about it on my blogpost here.
Røros is one of the oldest towns of wooden buildings in Europe, founded in 1644. Due to its authentic wooden buildings and unique character of an early mining town, Røros was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980. The photos I am sharing here were taken by Michael, when we were there in 2018.
Just as last time we will be staying at the historic Bergstadens Hotel established as a shuttle station in the 17th century. This time I am holding 3 new talks and 1 new workshop; Reverse Your Cable.
I am excited to see if I will meet some of the knitters I met there last time. You will find more information and booking details on Temareiser Fredrikstad’s website.
