Jari Pattern Released

I am thrilled to release the Jari pattern made in Ask for Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. The test knit has come to an end with some stunning results and a corrected pattern. Jari was worn by beautiful model Olivia Lindtein, with make-up & hair styling by Nina Hjertaas Bull and jewellery by Kaja Gjedebo Design, captured by photographer Wenche Hoel-Knai at our photoshoot at Sentralen in Oslo back in December. Yarn kits with either an English or a Norwegian pattern are available directly from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk, while the single pattern is on sale in English on Ravelry. The updated Norwegian pattern will be added shortly and both languages will also be available on LoveCrafts.

Named Jari, Norse for fighter, is this oversized pullover with a bottom tuck, a Celtic cable front panel and a high collar. Unlike the front the back has only the two small center cables. The sleeves are knitted in stockinette stitch but end in a cuff. Jari ends like it began with double seed stitch, but the collar is crowned with an I-cord. The pullover is knitted in the airy Norwegian combed wool yarn Ask from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
