Iku Pattern Released

I am thrilled to release the Iku pattern, after a successful test knit in my Ravelry group with wonderful versions knitted. You can see a number of them on the pattern page on Ravelry. The pattern is available in both English and Norwegian. Iku is made for Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk in their stunning Sol lambswool yarn and will soon be available as a yarn kit directly on their website. Iku was brilliantly photographed by Eivind Røhne in Bøler Church, worn by jazz singer Anette Løvtangen with make-up & hair by Hina Suleman.A seamless jacket adorned with a lace pattern at the center of the body, named Iku, Japanese for nourishing. The body is shaped for the bust and worked in one piece from the bottom to the armholes, while the sleeves are worked top down in stockinette stitch to make the lace pattern stand out. The jacket ends in a crew neck that is crowned with an I-cord and a button band. Iku is knitted in the soft Norwegian lambswool yarn Sol from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
