Ceol Pattern Released

I am so thrilled to release Ceol – a straight pullover – pattern designed for Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk knitted in Ask, after a successful test knit in my Ravelry Group. The pattern has been corrected and improved by my very skilled test knitters, I am pleased to say. The English pattern is available in my Ravelry Store, while the Norwegian one will be added shortly. Both patterns will also be upload to LoveCrafts. Yarn kits are available directly from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk. Ceol was photographed worn by Model Olivia Lindtein – with make-up & hair styling by Nina Hjertaas Bull jewellery by Kaja Gjedebo Design – at Sentralen in Oslo back in December last year by Wenche Hoel-Knai.

Named Ceol, Irish for music, is this straight pullover with Celtic cables that vibrates out into smaller cables and then flattens into stockinette stitch like rhythm. The sweater ends in a crew neck that is crowned with an I-cord. Unlike the body the sleeves only have two small cables at the center. Ceol is knitted in pieces in the airy Norwegian combed wool yarn Ask from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
